The cause of wheel rim grinding of the bridge crane

Bridge overhead travelling crane is a kind of lifting machinery with wide application range, which is suitable for lifting operation in warehouse, material, production workshop and other places. Wheel flange eccentric wear is a common crane failure. If it cannot be processed in time, it will cause damage to equipment and even casualties.

In the process of use, the error of the equipment manufacturing, installation and other reasons make the bridge transversely offset, leading to the tightness between the flange and the track side. When the big car runs, the edge of the wheel and the side of the track are rubbed. For a long time, the edge of the wheel is worn off.

In the analysis of the reasons for the the reason of wheel rim grinding of the bridge crane,the following several angles can be considered.

1,When the bridge crane is made, the main beam has a certain upper deflection. When the crane has been used for a long time, it will cause permanent deformation of the bridge. The distance between the box and the center line of the main girder will be reduced, resulting in the deviation of the wheel flange to the central direction of the main girder, resulting in the eccentric track of the clamping track.

2, the track does not maintain level, and the two tracks do not maintain horizontal state, which will make the wear and consumption of the wheels on the two sides of the crane different during the running process, which will cause the flange wear problem.

3, the running speed of the wheels on both sides of the crane is not consistent. The difference in speed may be caused by the difference in the diameter of the two sides of the wheel or by the difference in the speed of the two motor drives. When the speed of the wheels on both sides is different, the crane produces torque, which makes the flange wear off.

4, when the wheel is highly skewed, there is a force opposite to the vertical direction. This force will cause the problem of eccentric wear when the wheel and rail contact.

5, when the wheel's horizontal deviation is out of order, the speed of the wheel can be decomposed into two speeds of horizontal and vertical tracks. The speed of the vertical rail causes the crane to move laterally, and the contact between the flange and track side is too tight, resulting in eccentric wear.
